ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are some useful tips to help you plan your wedding
day successfully.
When should we order our wedding stationery?
We recommend at least 5 months before the wedding
date.
How long will it take to process my stationery order?
We always aim to get invitations and RSVP’s out
within 4 weeks of you placing an order.
When do we send out the invitations?
6 to 12 weeks before the wedding should allow your
guests enough time to reply.
Who sends out the invitations?
Traditionally, the hosts of the wedding day do this,
but it is often the bride and groom.
When should we decide our guest list?
As soon as possible, remember to consider the size
of your reception and your budget.
How many invitations should we order?
Allow one invitation for each family, couple or
single person, but remember to allow a few extra for
additional guests and any in case or errors.
When should the R.S.V.P. date be?
At least four weeks before the wedding date, to
allow yourself plenty of time to finalise the catering
or seating arrangements.
What details do we need for our Order of Service?
Entrance music, Hymns, Prayers, Marriage and
Benediction. Always check the hymns with your clergy
before placing your order.
How do we plan our seating arrangement?
It helps if the people you are seating together have
something in common. The top table layout should be:
Bridesmaid(s); Groom’s Father; Bride’s Mother; Groom;
Bride; Bride’s Father; Groom’s Mother; Best Man.
Will guests be able to find the church/reception?
You may need to send directions or maps to your
guests who are not familiar with the area. These can
either be sent with your invitations or after guests
have accepted. If your reception is being held at a
hotel or country house, you may be able to obtain
directions from them on via their website.
